Senses poem by Ollie Quickenden

I can hear a bird tweeting

I can see a forest waving

I can touch a flower softly

I can taste an ice cream yummy

I can smell a dog all wet

Reception have been painting forests of different sized trees this week & told us about the ‘tallest’ & ‘shortest’. Year 1 are continuing to look at different types of poems & this week have been using their senses to help them write a poem. Year 2 shared some of the writing they do each morning. They have a picture & have to use their imagination to write a story or description of the picture. They have also been learning about the Victorians & Bella shared the homework she had done about Queen Victoria.
